Admission:  Admission charges for the World Series Games are: 

 

            Ages 13 & Up: $7.00/day or Wristband $25.00/WEEK PASS

  • Ages 6-12:$3.00/day or Wristband $10.00/WEEK PASS

  • Ages 5 & Under:FREE

 

Players, Coaches and Dixie Officials will be supplied with ID badges.  Each must wear ID badges daily to be admitted into the park without charge.  Lost or misplaced ID badges cannot be replaced.  To enter or re-enter the park, you must have an ID badge or will be charged appropriately.

 

Credentials Meeting:  The Credentials Meeting will be held Friday, August 1, 2014 at 3:00 PM in the PARD Events Building.  This meeting will last approximately 2 hours.  Updated daily schedules will be distributed and practice fields/batting cages will be arranged at this time.

 

Flags:  Every team is required to bring (2) two - 4’ X 6’ State Flags to be turned in at the Credentials Meeting.

 

Opening Ceremonies:  Teams will assemble at the PARD Pavilion at 5:15 PM.  Opening ceremonies will begin at 6:00 PM at Lee’s Landing Field followed by a parade to the PARD Gymnasium where the banquet will be held.  A map of the park is included in this packet. 

 

Banquet/Dinner:  The Banquet/Dinner will be held Friday, August 1, 2014 at 7:00 PM at the PARD Gymnasium.  Teams, Coaches and Dixie Officials will use ID Badges.  Meal tickets will be sold while they last. 

Entertainment:  Flags will be displayed throughout the ball fields and inside the Gymnasium.  The National Anthem/Prayer will be heard at the beginning of each game day.  A guest speaker and other entertainment (TBA) will be included at the banquet.

 

Medical Personnel:  PARD will staff medical personnel to handle any kind of emergency that may arise. 

 

Meals:  Meals will be provided to Teams as long as they are in the series.

 

Laundry:  Teams are responsible for their own laundry while at the series.

 

Sunday Worship Services:  There will be a 30 minute non-denominational worship service on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at 12:45 PM at the PARD Events Building with lunch.  Places of worship are included in this packet.

 

Park Policies: 

  • Absolutely NO Coolers or Ice Chests of any kind are allowed in the park – Concessions are available from opening to closing of park.Water coolers (one per dugout plus cups) will be provided each day.

  • Dixie Softball prohibits the use of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products at all DSI events; however, there is a designated smoking area at the park.

  • ***Absolutely no pets are allowed on park property.***

  • RV’S, BUSES AND OVERSIZED VEHICLES MUST MAKE PRIOR PARKING ARRANGEMENTS WITH PARD OFFICE (985) 370-7273 AND

  • WILL BE REQUIRED TO PURCHASE WEEK PASS. 

  • Please follow all park rules.
